I haven't shot a big sporting event in what feels like ages. So when I was asked last minute to shoot a varisty boys lacrosse game I was a bit nervous. It was pouring rain all day and the game was at night. To add to the pressure, Cohasset won State Championships last year and Hingham is their rivals. Luckily for me the rain progessively slowed as the game wore on and eventually petered out. While I couldn't feel my toes by the end of the game, (note to self, get feet warmers), the rain made everything more intense and the light on the field was gorgeous. It was such an exciting game with back to back goals, returns, a build to tie within the last minutes and seconds of the game, to overtime and finally a winning goal by Cohasset within the three-minute mark of double overtime. A few of my favorite shots from the night are below, thanks for looking!

For months I have been obessed with and followed @echosight . For those who are not familiar with @Echosight, it is an Instagram collaboration that started between Danny Ghitis in New York and Daniella Zalcman in London. Recently the Instagram account has been opened up to pair other photographers living, traveling and working in seperate cities.
This past week I was lucky enough to be able to take over @echosight and collaborate with the very talanted Nick Brandreth. Nick was running a workshop all week, camping and teaching large format photography, so I had the challange of mashing-up our images and keeping my fingers crossed that he would like them. This collaboration was the highlight of my week! I had a ton of fun overlaying the different photographs sent by Nick, (Sorry for all the emails Nick!) I haven't had the opportunity to collaborate creativly with other photographers since graduation and I treasured the time @echosight allowed me to do so.
